Definition
Proportion of households where home care services were perceived as needed but not received in the past 12 months.
Measurement
This indicator is measured in the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS). Survey respondents are asked:
During the past 12 months, was there ever a time when you or anyone in your household felt that home care services were needed but were not received?
